It’s officially cold. Really cold. For those like me who quite unintelligently positioned their bed next to their incredibly drafty window when they moved in, more often than not, all I want to do is roll myself up into a comforter burrito and hibernate until spring when the temperature drops below 50.

But since we are sadly not bears and this is undoable for most, we splurge on jackets in hopes that they emote that feeling of cozy that we crave and only seem to achieve in the minutes before our morning alarm clocks go off. The new outerwear drops from MissKL can definitely help us with that.

Vans — The Endeavor Hooded Parka in Black

Obey — The Knightsbridge Hooded Drapey Parka in Army

Obey — The Brighton Parka in Army

When temps drop, parkas are my best friend. Whether it be going from party-to-party or bar-to-bar, parkas will undoubtedly keep you warm. Besides, don’t act like you’ve never hid in your fur-lined hood when you find yourself underdressed for your chilly  evening commute.

Jack BB Dakota — The Camelot Coat in Ivory

Jack BB Dakota — The Benns Melton Jacket in Gray

BB Dakota — The Deena Belted Melton Coat

Ahh, the classic peacoat. You really can’t go wrong with these jackets, ever. Dress it up or dress it down, it can take even the most thrown-together-last-minute ensembles to effortlessly polished. The Camelot Coat from BB Dakota is also available in three colors, so helloooo versatility.

BB Dakota — The Davina Fur Trim Patterned Coat

BB Dakota — The Hazel Leopard Coat

Obey — The Garrison Hooded Military Jacket in Blotch Camo

All of us at MissKL are also drooling over prints this season. Why lose yourself in the sea of black and grey outwear when you can channel your inner Aztec or make Josie and the Pussycats jealous? BB Dakota’s desert and leopard prints are some great choices when you want to mix up your all-black-everything wardrobe with a statement coat that will also keep you cozy. And camo isn’t just for boys and hunter types anymore, as we’ve seen it everywhere in the past few seasons. This piece from Obey is perfect for those who are in love with their army prints but hesitant to bring their canvas coats into the chillier temps.

Cheap Monday — The Teddy Bomber Jacket in Earth Green

RVCA — The Dream On Fur Hooded Jacket in Feather Grey

Patagonia — The Pelage Jacket in Gray

Sometimes we just want to fall back and leave the house in our trusty fleeces on brisk days. Fall fleeces can easily go downhill, especially if you settle for the ubiquitously cringeworthy Denali jacket made unfortunately famous by every basic b*tch ever. However Cheap Monday, RVCA and Patagonia (with faux fur versions!!!) kill it with their take on everyone’s favorite lazy day coat.
