If you’re a baby of the ’80s and a child of the ’90s like myself, then one of your arguably favorite childhood anthems was TLC’s “No Scrubs.”  My friends and I belted this song wherever we could – sleepovers, school dances in the gymnasium, while riding bikes, anywhere – and memorized all of Left Eye, T-Boz, and Chilli’s dance moves.  While I was a little too young to totally emulate the video in its entirety and cop TLC’s wardrobe during this video’s prime, now I feel totally crazysexycool with dressing like I don’t want no scrubs, especially with the recent resurgence of all things ’90s.

My favorite look of this video is hands-down the ladies’ all black, industrial, bondage-inspired look (Chilli’s white feathered crop top and baggy pants on a swing is a very close second).  The video became iconic in and of itself, but this particular look went on to be immortalized with the TLC Barbie Dolls.
