Whussup world! Its ya gurl NOODLES aka Micah the Head Stylst here at Karmaloop. For those who don’t know, I also blog on my personal site WICVH.com where I share many different outfit posts, music event coverage, and current fashion inspiration for the upcoming season.

And for my first ever blog post for Miss KL I just had to make it a really good one. I was contemplating on what I wanted to write about, so this is what I came up with… A short style guide of outfits to enter school, a party, or concert in style.

Karrueche came into the studio a couple weeks ago and I decided to shoot a couple of looks on her with the latest gear from Miss KL. It varies from the many different lifestyles of the stylish Goons and Gals.

Outfit 1: The boyfriend look

This is the boyfriend look. By far one of the most coziest and one of my all time favorite styles to dress up in. Everything is oversized, simple, and comfortable. Ladies steal your boyfriends jerseys, button up’s, hats, jeans, and gold chains and pair them up with your favorite sneakers. Jerseys are a staple item piece you need in  your closet whether you’re a boy or girl. And with the transistion into fall,  it’s time to grab your snapbacks, beanies, and 5 panels for this season.

Outfit 2: The Modernized Mix of the 70′ 80′s & 90′s look

A mix of every relevant decade mixed into one. Lets start with the 70′s… I incorporated these flower power daisy socks into this look to make it stand out with out doing too much. And paired them with our Miss KL x Jeffrey Campbell Clearly shoe exclusives To add onto the 80′s feel I did an off the shoulder bell dress to make the outfit fun. Finishing off with tying a denim jacket around the waist to show that 90′s grunge side.

Outfit 3: The Perfect Duo look

Nothing captures my attention than seeing someone in a matching 2 piece fit. It’s pretty awesome to see someone wear something out of the ordinary to stand out in this crazy world we all live in. They are the most comfortable thing ever! And my obsession with floral print is REAL. Although I sometimes hate wearing it, I’m just very picky when it comes to certain floral patterns. And I’m not going to lie I defintely own this 2 piece set. HOW COULD  YOU SAY NO TO THIS OUTFIT?

Outfit 4: The Preppy look

Shop this look:

Since school has started for most of y’all, there are ways to dress up your preppyness in a street style way. Ladies circle skirts are a key item for this season! You can pair them with thigh high socks, lowcut socks, and my all time favorite LACEY socks! And as happy as I am about cropped tops still being in style this season, you should have many different options with these tops when it comes to pairing it with your outfit.
