Rihanna burst onto the scene fresh faced & bubbly with 2 consecutive, catchy dance-hall albums. It wasn’t until Good Girl Gone Bad, an inverted bob, and her newly showcased edginess (& realizing the fact that she’s a fellow Pisces) that I started paying attention to the pop princess. RihRih has managed to remain relevant both in the music & fashion industry from the start. Don’t purchase her albums? You still know the chorus to her songs. Never pick up a magazine? Her street style sets trends that influence what you can find on our site! Who cares about her personal life (ain’t nobody’s business), just enjoy her presence!
I was lucky enough to actually be in the same room as Robyn Rihanna Fenty last night at the TD Garden in Boston. Needless to say the experience was awe-inspiring. Her original show date was postponed due to a bout of laryngitis & last night may have started a bit behind schedule- but I don’t mind the fact she runs on island time! Her 6 act performance featured numerous wardrobe changes, backup dancers, & curated screen projections, yet it was impossible not to keep your gaze fixed on the superstar herself. She even ran through the crowd in her dollar $ign babydoll!
Peep some of the photos I snapped within the post & for hi-res go here.
