Our Coachella playlist is mad diverse considering the wide range of musical genres being represented. This line-up ascends directly from the heavens. Get ready to be serenaded.

Here are our ABC’s of some of the acts we can’t wait to groove to at Coachella.

Baauer: DJ and producer of trap house tunes that gets us bouncing like whoa!

Bat For Lashes: We adore this vixen, so talented and beautiful. She plays an array of exotic instruments. Her music is so smooth and powerful, we cry…in a good way.

Bassnectar: His music can be compared to an orgasmic explosion of epically rhythmic electronic beats. Enough said.

Birdy Nam Nam: Ok so this DJ crew composed of 4 Frenchies is a spectacle to be witnessed.  They create beats in real time using 8 decks as instruments. Magnifique!

Foals: I became obsessed with the song “Miami” by this bloody awesome British rock/dance/punk band. The video is amazing too.

Grimes: Grimes is sooo “our” girl. She is artful with her music and has captivating stage presence. Her tunes are eclectic yet harmonious, think Skinny Puppy meets Mariah Carey, jeez.

Four Tet: You need to know what you are getting into when diving into the post punk noise world of Four Tet. But boy, is it a trip and if Thom Yorke co-signs that’s really it for me.

Hot Chip: I have seen them play like hundred times but that warm fuzzy get down and bust a move feeling never gets old. “I Feel Better” is part of the sound track of my life.

The XX: We can never not be psyched to experience a performance by The XX. I saw them play an ad hoc gig under a bridge during SXSW one year. That scene is so fitting of their music, emotionally powerful melodies with that “wait for it” cache.

Jessie Ware: This girl is my favorite new artists as of late. She is the female vocalist for SBTRKT but alone is a true force to be reckoned with. Her cover of  the 90’s track “If You Love Me” is stunning.

Janelle Monae: She has been in the scene since the early 2000 working with Outkast. She is finally on repeat on everyone’s iTunes. This is R&B!

Lee Scratch Perry: Deemed the godfather of reggae; Lee Scratch Perry is a living ode to this musical genre and the culture that goes along with it. His life is a very interesting one, I recommend watching the documentary “The Upsetter”.

New Order: What can I say about these guys, one of the most iconic bands playing Coachella this year. They are an amalgamation of all the things that encompass an art driven movement. Balearic house post-punk sprinkled with Italo disco? Swoon.

Purity Ring: Man, why is Canada so killing it in the music game right now? Purity Ring played our party an Art Basel Miami last year and wow.  Their tunes are so lucidly epic. This is going to be a good one.

Simian Mobile Disco: This dou has been on my playlist since 2006. Electronic music that motivates you to run like hell.  They were originally on Kitsune records. (one of my favorites, make sure to check out their compilations) Their remix work is FIRE!

Wolfgang Gartner: Don’t let the “house music all night long” with this DJ/producer fool you. His LP back in 2011 featured artists such as Jim Jones, Cam’ron, and Eve.

Yeah Yeah Yeahs: Yes, yes and yes…we love Karen O! These guys rock and we know everyone is excited to see their performance. Just in time for their new album “Mosquito”!
