Festival season is officially upon us, with the first big one taking place in Miami, Florida in just a matter of days.  I am talking about the world’s largest dance party, better known as Ultra Music Festival.  I couldn’t be more excited to be in attendance yet again this year after having more fun than I knew was humanly possible at last year’s epic event. This year, Ultra announced that they were adding another weekend of the festival making it the first electronic dance music festival to ever take place over the course of two weekends. The massive lineup for the festival’s 15th anniversary did not disappoint, including electronic music kings Eric Prydz, Kaskade, Tiesto, Steve Aoki and Armin Van Buuren.  Not to mention, Swedish House Mafia’s performing the last two shows of their career as a trio at the festival, which is something I, along with the other 200,000 EDM lovers, are looking forward to. This never-ending lineup is so wide-ranging in terms of genre; there is definitely something for everyone! Having gone last year, I completely know what to expect this time around, although with a line-up this colossal, I’m prepared for my expectations to once again be exceeded.

Aside from the music, my favorite part about the festival is the fashion. Piecing together wildly daring and unforgettable outfits is something I look forward to as Ultra quickly approaches. With a little help from MISS KL, I will be sure to come up with some pretty rad looks.  I am not the only one who takes my outfit choices seriously; there is a wide range of fashion styles that can be seen at this event.  Amongst the sea of neon, you can find everything from boho chic to 90’s grunge. I will be covering the fashion at the festival as well as other Miami music week events. So make sure you check back here on the MISS KL blog after the festival for my next post which will include my outfits as well as the various street style I came across while gallivanting through Miami. In the mean time, here are a few of my top Miss KL picks and a little Ultra playlist to get you psyched for the festival!
