Meet Jackie Earhart: head men’s photographer, wife, and creator of Harlett, a badass accessories line that consists of a whole lot of leather, spikes, and so much more. (All of us here at Miss KL are dying over her latest creation, the boot harness, which comes in two different styles. Check them out here as well as the rest of her line.) Jackie’s known around the office for her simple but killer biker chic style — you can catch her most days sporting a vintage Harley Davidson tee and authentic rugged leather boots.

Learn more about the gorgeous gal behind the camera:

Q: How and when did you get started on Harlett?
A: Harlett started mostly because I was itching to do something creative, but because I am photographing all day five days a week, I need some other outlet. My husband and I had been working on our men’s line Holliday for a few years and I just started playing around with stuff that I would pick up from supply shopping for Holliday. Friends showed interest in the things I was making, we tested it on Karmaloop and it worked! I just really love playing off current trends, I’m not in this to break any molds. I’m just having some fun and stretching it as far as I can!

Q: What is currently your favorite piece in your wardrobe?
A: If you know me then you know I wear my Frye engineer boots almost every day. I have a ton of shoes, but they are like my security blanket! Doesn’t matter what time of year — I’m probably wearing them. I’m also kind of obsessed with my own Harlett accessories, like my leopard pony hair spike bracelet. I have a mega soft spot for leopard.

Q: If you could watch only one movie for the rest of your life, what would it be?
A: Oh man, this is hard! It’s a tie between Crybaby and Lost Boys, so many babes in those movies!

Q: Any motto/quote you live by?
A: One motto my husband is always saying is “All or nothing.” It’s pretty simple and to the point. Something we try to do in all our endeavors. If it’s not worth giving it your all, then it’s probably not worth anything. I definitely pride myself in my work ethic and I try to live by motto everyday I come to Karmaloop, and when working on Harlett and Holliday.

Q: What is your favorite part of working at Karmaloop?
A: Karmaloop has turned into an extended family. Some of my closest friends I have met through Karmaloop in some way or another. I know that if I ever needed anything I could always rely on this family. The office dogs are another big plus in the workplace!
