Fashion week has since moved on to London, and soon to Milan and Paris, but the song remains the same – at least when it comes to this monochromatic menswear trend. The looks you see above are home grown, but you’ll find that London fashion week designers like Ashish, Jean-Pierre Braganza, and Sass & Bride showed similar styles this past week in their overseas shows. While neither the menswear trend nor the idea of a white-washed spring can be considered newsworthy on their own, put the two styles together, add some black, and you suddenly have a much more enticing S/S 2013 collection. All I can say is so much for a relaxing, vacation-heavy summer – these models look like they’re ready for a boardroom showdown with some high-powered CEOs.
