We are totally taken by the work of British designer Carly Ellis at last week’s runway show for the first ever graduates of Parsons MFA Fashion Design and Society program. Held at Milk Studios during New York Fashion Week, this production was no small event! And rightfully so, as these up-and-comers in the biz are set to become major style pioneers. The colorful, street-smart pieces put forth by Ellis in her 2012 Collection are exemplary of her offbeat yet wearable aesthetic with a fan base including Diane Von Furstenberg (who paid her tuition, BOOM), Rye Rye (who was dressed by the designer for her nationwide tour), and critics like Hilary Alexander of the Telegraph.
More reason to get behind Team Carly: she had the sense to complement her geometric patterned clothing with our exclusive Jeffrey Campbell Paradigm collection! We think it’s a match made in
heaven outer space, don’t you?
