It’s that time of year again. School is back in full swing, the leaves are starting to change, and the amazing fall outerwear is stocked and ready for purchase. But this year instead of making myself many empty promises like getting straight A’s (not that I’m a bad student) or going to the gym, I promised myself one thing, and one thing only. I solemnly do swear to always be on time. Now this may not seem like too hard a feat, but this one task has always been quite tough for me. I mean it starts with snoozing your alarm one too many times, then carries over into the dreaded process of bandaging your body with garments and garbs, and before you know it, this vicious cycle spirals out of control and throws your entire day’s plans out the crapper.

To be quite honest, I’ve never been a watch girl. Now don’t get me wrong, I’ve always wanted to be, but why torture myself with all those little numbers and lines when I always have an easier option located in my front pocket (my handy dandy iPhone of course.). I swear to you Peter Henlein, mastermind behind the watch for those of you who don’t know, created these crafty circular circuits as a mind game.

But as I grew older, I realized something very, very important. Watches are no longer simply worn for the pleasure of knowing the time. With access to all of our gadgets and gizmos, you’d think a watch is probably the last place one would turn for the hour yet, individuals still own these devices and continue to purchase them. Want to know why? Because watches are fashion accessories. Plain and simple. Bright colors, different patterns, and new takes on the classic silhouettes, the arm party can now be brought to new levels with these craft critters. So this fall, tickle your wrist with some major arm candy like my personal faves the Exclusive La Mer Malibu Neon Yellow and Gunmetal Watch, the Nixon Time Teller Watch in Matte Peppermint, or the Nixon Divvy Watch in Gun and Gold. I solemnly do swear that you’ll look great, and never be late.
