We hit the not-really-mean streets of Manhattan’s Bowery neighborhood to see how local stylistas were enjoying the last few days of summer — and more importantly, what they were wearing. With fall just around the corner (oh, what’s up Labor Day Weekend?), these days are the last few moments we all have to enjoy sunglasses, shorts, mini skirts, crop tops, sandals, tanks and the like under the summer sun.

While the coat-wearing reality of fall may be soon upon us, what better time than now to bask and reminisce about the fashions and styles the summer of 2012 brought along? 90s revival, edgy prep, minimal goth, sea punk — only a handful of these fashion fads have a good probability of holding throughout the next season.

But the girls that we ran into didn’t seem to care about the oh-so-ever-changing trends of the past few months — instead they decided to dish to us what specific pieces they will (and won’t miss) once the leaves start to change. Check out all the stylish gossip:
