Music festivals inspire and create the summer soundtracks that we all love. The Black Keys, Nicki Minaj, Lollapalooza, the Hard Summer Music Festival, and Identity Fest are all coming to your cities this summer – and Karmaloop will have you looking all the rage, while you rage.

For you West-coasters, the Hard Summer Music Festival in LA presents amazing artists such as Skrillex, Bloc Party, Miike Snow, Zedd, Alvin Risk and more! An appropriate occasion for your best badass style, we like the skin tight Sad Daze Mini Dress by Dimepiece Designs with its paint dripped rainbow face. Add the Dimepiece Collection Beanie for grunge, and to punctuate this killer look, throw on the Roxie Shoe by Jeffrey Campbell. Lastly, Melody Ehsani jewels add a bit of glamour.

The Black Keys, our favorite rock crooners as of late, are touring this summer. We would hate to offer anything other than a frothy, sweet sundress, so understandably our pick is the Faithful Dress by MINKPINK. To make your getup pop among other concert-goers, throw in the Damsel Shoe by Jeffrey Campbell – a red, white, and blue statement boot for the win. Plus, this look carries over well to the after party! Just add vintage jewelry to polish it up.

Identity Fest, or ID Fest as it is affectionately called, is a traveling tour that features an eclectic mix of artists including Adrian Lux, Datsik, Eric Prydz, Nero, Rye Rye and more, all bringing the soul-shaking beats that we love.  Since this is an all-day affair, you want to be comfortable right? The Chartreuse Rana Tunic by Local Celebrity is light and airy, allowing you to dance freely. The shoes are the HOMG Sneakers by Jeffrey Campbell – a personal favorite among the Karmaloop interns. A sharp detail is the Two Tone Engraved Five Station Necklace by House of Harlow 1960, which complements the tunic’s color and frames the face.

Our girl Nicki Minaj is all over, don’t miss her. Rock a Karmaloop outfit inspired by her quirky detailing and sexy style. Playing off a hot trend this season, we suggest wearing high waisted cutoffs. Shit, when isn’t this trend a summer favorite?! A lavender pair of distressed denim shorts paired with a sleeveless bodysuit is the perfect way to look stylish while remaining comfortable at any show. Here, we coupled the Skeleton One Piece by Wildfox with the Zappo Denim Short by MINKPINK. The skeleton graphic print and floral headband give the outfit some Minaj edge while the pastel purple color of the distressed denim shorts help keep this outfit feminine.

Lollapalooza is not an event to miss, with talented artists including the Red Hot Chili Peppers, Florence and the Machine, Avicii, Bassnectar, FUN., Calvin Harris, and many many more. Be sure to make it to Chicago in August in our summery picks! Since this is one of the bigger fests happening nationwide, we recommend sporting a vintage-y patriotic look complete with a comfy sweater like this one from Joyrich for when those lakeside temps dip at night. We matched the Afterlife Thrashed Short by Evil Twin with the Americana One Piece by ONeill. One pieces are killer because they double as bodysuits, and who doesn’t like a two-for item! If you’re dying to see the action over people’s shoulders, try out a platform studded high-top sneaker, like these from iiJin. For a more “street” feel, rock the Stomp Boot by BOTB by Hellz Bellz.
