Why should blonde, polished Cher Horowitz get all the spotlight? I have to cite Dionne Davenport as one of my favorite 90′s style figures because Stacey Dash‘s character has bubbly charm and a kaleidoscopic wardrobe… not to mention her on-screen boy toy, Donald Faison, graduates to become an adorable surgeon on one of the better perpetual rerun options, Scrubs. Considering that Dionne is Cher’s biggest fashion critic, perhaps she is the true sartorialist genius of the set. “Dee” certainly has a knack for headwear — flowers in her hair, crochet beanies, bandanas, that infamous round thing she sports on the cover — and Cher deems her fashion choices “courageous” (she has, gasp! a nose ring after all). Plus homegirl rocked velvet in a way that would be cool again today. With the resurgence of this now kitschy era (um hellooo Jeremy Scott AW12?!) plenty of Dionne-friendly wears have hit the market, and our ragin’ list will ensure that you are not “ensembly challenged.”
