Anything sheer is right up my alley these days, so The Sheer Reptile Print Top from *NYC Boutique has become a necessary staple in my eyes.

Even though today reached a scalding 95 degrees, I couldn’t fight the urge to pair The Sheer Reptile Print Top from *NYC Boutique with The Clean Utility Pants by Free People.  The Clean Utility Pant and the girly bows of The Dakota Sandal by DV by Dolce Vita make for a great mix of tough and feminine. Warning: Save this look for any day or night that stays below 90 degrees.

In keeping with the reptile theme, I’ve layered The Sheer Reptile Print Top with The Printed Strappy Cami in Black Snake Combo by Free People.  I feel like I may be repeating myself, and by ‘may’ I mean ‘without a doubt’, but there’s just something about hard and soft I can’t get away from. The Puff Skirt by Lucca Couture, The Oriana Flat from *Sole Boutique and The Iconic Pink Heart Long Necklace by Betsey Johnson doll up this previously tough look.

While I usually try not to play favorites with my looks, I can’t help but keep being drawn back to this combo. It’s all about The El Carmen Shoe by Jeffery Campell. Being a girl that is much more comfortable with my feet firmly planted on the ground in a pair of flats, I was shocked by my desire to frolic in these tall guys all day! The polka dots mirrored from the platforms t0 The Structured Side Button Shorts by Lucca Couture are easy to instantly fall in love with.
